We offer a Microwave oven leakage testing service to compliment out Portable Appliance Testing. This can be carried out at the same time as the Portable Appliance Testing or at a separate time to suit.
 
As microwaves are used usually on a daily basis, after a period of time, the door seals can become faulty causing leakage levels that exceed the recommended limit.
 
We use the latest detection units to check the radiation levels are acceptable as well as checking the door seals to make sure that there is no damage.
 
We can also check the power output to make sure the microwave is operating properly so food and drink are cooked throughout.
 
A full report will be supplied stating that the microwave falls within the current recommended acceptable radiation leakage for microwaves which at present is
5mW/cm2, once again this can be either hard copy or in digital format.
